You can think of Solitaire Klondike as a simplified version of Solitaire, but since it is a online game, you can play against the computer or against another human. The game starts out easy, but as you progress through the game, the computer gets harder to beat, and your opponent becomes more skilled. You can also customize how difficult you want the game to be, so even if you're a beginner, you can still have some fun playing Solitaire Klondike.

The object of Solitaire Klondike is to form four aces in a row. This can be done in a number of ways, such as building sets of three cards of the same suit, or building sets of three cards that rank together in sequence (i.e. 3d, 4d, 5d, 6d). You can also build sets of four cards that rank together in sequence (i.e. 4c, 5c, 6c, 7c), or sets of three cards that are all different suits. You can build as many sets as you want, but the more sets you have at the same time, the harder it is to move the cards around.

The controls are simple. You can click on cards in the game board to move them to the discard pile, and click on the discard pile to remove them from the game. You can also drag and drop cards from the game board to the discard pile.

You can play the classic version of Solitaire or make it even more interesting by choosing Vegas Solitaire. That is basically the same game, however you play with (only virtual) coins and try to build the best possible poker hand. The objective is to get a poker hand as close as possible to a Royal Flush. Solitaire also has other game variants like Pyramid Solitaire, in which you have to build the best possible poker hand by getting cards in a specific sequence on the tableau, or in sequences, or in pairs.
